Servlet based Web-application profile - Help
Use this option if your application is a web one based on servlets. Al least one of the input files must be of type .war. The generated protected output file will have .war format too.
If your web-app makes use of Jars files located in WEB-INF/lib folder, you can also optionally upload them to include their classes in the protection and merging process but you ought to manually remove them after protecting from the WEB-INF/lib folder. In order to avoid this manual operation, we recommend you select the Protect Jars in WEB-INF/lib folder option.
Keep in mind that currently JSPs are not supported by the Shield4J service, so if they are found, they are ignored.
